The Good Beach Guide is published by the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) - the UK charity dedicated to the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. It is the biggest and best beach guide available with a description, photo and map for each of 1,200 beaches in the UK and Ireland.
This symbol MCS recommended Logo indicates bathing sites recommended by MCS for excellent water quality. Do a quick beach search by clicking on the map (right), but remember that we don't recommend every beach. Do an advanced beach search to find a range of places to suit your holiday needs, or click clean seas for a full list of beaches recommended by MCS.

MCS is a registered charity. We welcome all donations and support.
