A former 11th century Hunting Box to the Abbots of nearby Buckfast Abbey, Holne Chase occupies arguably the best location on Dartmoor. Some of the oldest oak woods in England provide a stunning backdrop and a walk by the river will reveal a plethora of flora and fauna rarely experienced.
