Bottle feed the baby goats morning and afternoon
- Bottle-feeding of baby goats morning and afternoon
- Cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs
- Variety of outdoor play equipment
The Children’s farm at Abbotsbury is ideal for under 11’s. There are opportunities to cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs; hand feed baby goats with bottled milk, pony rides and new for 2005 ‘Goat races’ morning and afternoon. As well as the animals there is much play provision along with a bale mountain to explore and climb, toy tractors to race, sandpits and bouncy swings.
All this in the historic setting of the largest thatched barn in the UK. Benedictine monks built the barn in the 1390s; at present a major restoration of the roof is underway so access to the barn is not allowed. The farm is open as usual.
