At the summit of this very steep hill, an excavation has revealed the plans for two superimposed churches of St Michaels, of which only the 15th century tower remains.

Admission is free. Donations welcome. Public footpaths run across the Tor. There are picnic spots in the Moneybox field, Fairfield and Tor Field, all of which are on the main footpath. Dogs should be on leads only. No parking on site (except for orange or blue badge holders). Please use council-run park & ride from centre of Glastonbury from April to Sept or park in free car park at Somerset Rural Life Museum, Abbey Farm, Glastonbury.
