EXPERIENCE THE WILDLIFE AT NEWQUAY ZOO. Voted Visitor Attraction of the Year 2006 (Cornwall Tourism Awards) Newquay Zoo is set in 10 acres of exotic lakeside gardens with hundreds of animals from all around the world. Look out for special events like Valentine’s and late evening opening in the summer. Enjoy a stroll through the Oriental Garden with otters playing in the stream. Spot the exotic animals in the open jungle rainforest exhibit in the Tropical House.
Newquay Zoo is fun for all age groups with plenty of delights for children including the Tarzan trail, a children’s play area, the village farm and the dragon maze. There is plenty of seating and picnic areas plus the Capybara restaurant, Tippy’s snack bar and a tasty summer barbecue by the lake. Events are run throughout the year and group bookings are always welcome. The site is mainly level and is wheelchair friendly.
