Castle Cove Beach, Portland, Dorset

Small and secluded beach close to Portland Harbour.

The beaches at Portland Harbour are small and secluded. They are sat on a spit, similar to Chesil Beach. Castle Cove is a small privately owned sandy beach backed by cliffs. Sandsfoot is very tranquil and popular with locals. It is set in the shadows of the ruins of Sandsfoot castle and gardens.
