Sandymouth Beach, Bude, Cornwall (North Coast)
In prime condition with sand, rocks and many rock pools
This beach is in prime condition with sand, rocks and rock pools. Cliffs and rocky headlands dominate and provide a great variety of wildflowers. The area is classed as a Heritage Coast and walking is recommended, but keep an eye on the tide.
Summerleaze Beach, Bude, Cornwall (North Coast)
Popular white sandy beach with dunes on one side and a canal on the other
The beach has a large natural swimming pool in the rocks that is filled by the sea at high tide. Situated close to the town centre, it has a large car park and easy access for everyone.
Treyarnon Bay Beach, Padstow, Cornwall (North Coast)
Small cove beach with sand, rocky outcrops and pools
A small beach ideal for crabbing with impressive rocky cliffs and headlands flanking the beach, which is part of the Heritage Coast. Access is good and attracts families for a variety of beach activities, especially surfing. Take note of the safety notices.
Trebarwith Strand Beach, Nr Tintagel, Cornwall (North Coast)
In a deep valley with attractive views along the Heritage Coastline
Rocks must be negotiated before you reach the large sandy beach and high tide covers the beach completely. Swimming and surfing are not recommended either side of high tide and nearby signs warn of the dangers. The coastal path north leads to Tintagel and makes a wonderful scenic walk.
Constantine Bay Beach, Padstow, Cornwall (North Coast)
A long sandy beach with rock pools and sand dunes
This is a long, wide, sandy beach with many rock pools and sand dunes to explore. Although it is popular with surfers, the waves are larger than most places along the coast and best suited to experienced surfers.
