This South Hams beach has acres of golden sands at low tide, ideal for the family day out at the seaside. Shallow waters for paddling, rock pools for exploring, perfect for sandcastles, windsurfing, canoeing and boogie boarding.
The sand and shingle beach at Babbacombe is popular for sailing and fishing off the breakwater. The sheltered conditions and easy access to the water have also made it extremely popular with the diving community.
The beach at Branscombe is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the coastal scenery. There’s a good cliff top walk to Beer and fishing trips can be arranged from the beach.
The beach at Wembury is surrounded by low cliffs and is set in a Marine Conservation Area. The beach is small and rocky when the tide is in but at low tide there are large areas of sand and lots of rockpools to explore.
