Charmouth West Beach, Nr Lyme Regis, Dorset
Sandy beach stretching for two miles - great for fossils and rock pools
Charmouth West, otherwise known as 'The Jurassic Coast', is an extremely scenic beach that stretches for two miles with intervening rock pools between Black Venn and Golden Cap.
This beach is ideal for families and has safe swimming with lifeguard cover in the summer months. There is also a good café at the beach providing snacks and refreshments.
Coryton Cove Beach, Dawlish, Devon (South Coast)
Snuggled between the impressive cliffs of the south Devon coastline
Coryton Cove, formerly known as Gentleman's Cove in Victorian times, is a secluded and picturesque cove located at the end of the seawall in Dawlish. With a small café offering light refreshments and toilet facilities close by. Coryton Cove offers something for everyone.
Dawlish Warren Beach, Dawlish, Devon (South Coast)
A sand and shingle beach close to the Exe Estuary
Two miles of golden sand and safe swimming make this a popular beach with families. There are also a number of attractions in Dawlish Warren, including children’s rides and amusements, making this the perfect day out by the sea.
