Praa Sands Beach, Nr Helston, Cornwall (South Coast)
Attractive, gently sloping, sandy beach backed by dunes and the village green
At both ends, the coastal path rises up over steep cliffs offering views towards Penzance and the Lizard peninsular. The bay is popular with families and surfers alike, having a south westerly aspect that receives Atlantic swells. Praa Sands stretches over one and a half miles.
Poldhu Cove Beach, Nr Helston, Cornwall (South Coast)
A small sandy cove with low cliffs on either side
The sandy cove is popular with surfers and swimmers. It’s also a popular location for sailing, jet skiing and windsurfing and zoning is used to increase safety on the water.

The three stunning south facing sandy beaches of Fisherman's Cove, Millbay and Small's Cove are perfect for paddling, swimming, sandcastles and rock pools.
Sandy beach set in a small cove, a 20 minute walk from Mevagissey. The beach is around 150 metres long but is completely covered at high tide. At low tide there are plenty of rock pools to explore. Swimming here is considered safe but there are no lifeguards on patrol. On some occasions Seals can be seen swimming off the beach or resting on the rocks.
Crooklets Beach, Bude, Cornwall (North Coast)
This is a popular beach for surfers and families alike
A large bay surrounded by gently shelving cliffs and rocks, facilities include a large car park, beach huts, Cafés and Bude town centre only a short walk away.
