Lusty Glaze is a privately owned Newquay beach that offers a range of beach based adventure activities. It can be accessed from neighbouring beaches or by walking down the cliff top path.

The beach is bounded by cliffs and a river and on its on the western side and by cliffs and sand dunes on the eastern side. Cafés, shops, car park, hotels and public houses are all nearby. A seasonal lifeguard service is also provided.
Towan is a safe family beach with lifeguard cover during the summer season. It is also popular with swimmers, surfers and body boarders due to the protective westerly swells.
