Penhale Sands, together with Perran Sands and Perranporth Beach form a three mile stretch of golden sands. Large sand dunes back the beaches and are fun to explore. The beaches are popular with surfers.

Porthleven West Beach, Nr Helston, Cornwall (South Coast)

The sand and shingle beach at the fishing port of Porthlevan stretches three miles southeast along the Loe Bar. It’s popular with experienced surfers who brave the waves that break onto a shallow barnacle-encrusted reef.
